CHERISH – Protection and Sustainable Management of European Cultural and Natural Heritage

CHERISH Multiplier event was held on 26th of May in “P. R. SLAVEYKOV” Secondary School in Dobrich, Bulgaria.
“Preservation of cultural and natural heritage is one of the important issues that should be discussed at schools”, said in his address the Director – Mr. Georgi GEORGIEV.
Guests of the event were Mrs. Pilar Poveda Bueno and Mr. Alberto Hernandez Gudino from the Foundation of University of Salamanca, Spain.

Vesselina Stoyanova presented CHERISH activities, main results and 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals to students (X and XI class) and teachers, as well as the training opportunities under the Erasmus + Programm for students.
The event continued with a presentation under the motto “Remember. Valorize. Protect”, presented by the teacher Mrs. S. Stoycheva. The young people got acquainted with the Bulgarian sites under the aegis of UNESCO and with some of the important cultural and natural landmarks of Dobrudja. The problems of protection of the cultural and natural heritage were outlined, as well as some of the possible solutions for their preservation.
